I just got a delivery of the Alpha AT. I notice that every time I go from reverse to drive mode there is a little bit of re-ignition. What I mean is that I feel as if the car auto restarts. Is this something I need to get checked out? Or is it that I am not putting enough throttle?

Switch off the Auto Stop / Start feature just after you press the push button for ignition. It is marked with A and one half round kind of mark. One yellow indication will appear on left dial of instrument console.

Hello, even with auto stop engaged, the auto stop will not kick in while changing from drive to reverse gear if the brake is not applied completely. I just tried doing this on my AT.

That should be the way I believe. I have been doing that. Otherwise, it turns off at drive having the breaks applied and when it is moved towards park, ignites again.
